I was born in Milan in 1984, where I earned my diploma in Mechanics.
In 2006, driven by an overwhelming passion, I moved to Turin to attend the Transportation Design courses at IED, graduating in 2008 with a thesis for BMW Group.
My passion has always been speed, whether on wheels or not, but I constantly nurture my interest and curiosity for new things. I enjoy taking everything out of its context and transferring ideas from one environment to another.
Besides small experiences as a writer for design and motoring magazines (Euromoto, Associazione Bertoni), my first jobs were internships in the fashion and mechanical industries, but I soon turned my attention to sport, both motorsport and beyond.
In 2009 I was at AGV in Rivalta Scrivia, where I first got to know the world of helmets. The experience continued in the Veneto region, still with the Dainese Group, where I worked on the design of many helmets for motorcycling, car racing, skiing and equestrian use, both for the group’s brands (Dainese and AGV) and for their clients (OMP, 3M Peltor, BMW Motorrad, Husqvarna). Among them, the ones I am most attached to are the Gt Carbon ski helmet, also worn by Sofia Goggia (for whom I designed a graphic, again for Dainese, in 2017), the Husqvarna Rocks 1 helmet, for which I handled both styling and graphics, the car helmet for 3M Peltor, and the AGV Share communication system project.
From 2013 to 2017 I worked for Selle Royal Group, partly stepping away from styling and modeling tasks to focus on graphic and material product development. There I learned a great deal about technologies and processes, enormously enriching my knowledge, while working for the group’s brands: Selle Royal, Fizik and Brooks England. Among the many projects, I would like to mention the development of materials for the Scientia range, the Ta+too project and the Brooks Cambium All Weather.
After a brief return to Dainese, in 2017 I joined Selle Italia in Asolo, where I held the role of Chief Designer, returning to a purely creative role. There are many interesting projects from those years; among the most important, I fondly remember the ST7 Vision (innovative in its shape, for which the company granted me the satisfaction of taking part in the patent), the Model X (innovative in its process) and the SP-01 Tekno, developed in collaboration with Dallara.
In 2020 I decided to return to the world of motorsport. At Schuberth Performance I handled the product at 360°, from design through homologation and industrialization, including the production of graphic product documentation and communication, up to coordinating the project itself while monitoring costs and timelines.
The projects I worked on were FIA 8859-2015 helmets, FIA 8860-2018 helmets and CMR 2016 karting helmets.
Since January 2023, I have decided to invest my 15 years of experience in the product world by launching “Underground Project,” my freelance consulting venture, where I bring all my passion and practicality without giving up the human aspects that are an important value to me.
